What can I repost with Video Repost?
Use content you own or have permission to use. Paste a public Instagram post or Reel link, preview it and choose a video. The Instagram Reels route uses your selected video; other sharing options use the iOS share sheet.
Does my caption transfer to Instagram automatically?
No. Wait until the video appears in Instagram’s editor. Return to Repost, choose Copy caption, then switch back and paste it. Copying the caption replaces the video on the clipboard.
Will a reminder publish my post?
No. A reminder asks you to return to your saved draft. Delivery depends on your iPhone notification settings. You open Instagram and decide whether to publish.
Do I need an Instagram account?
Repost does not require an app account. To use the Instagram Reels route, Instagram must be installed and signed in on your iPhone. Repost does not ask for your Instagram password for this handoff.
